Now, Voicemail being around for just over or under nine years, depending on the exact time in 2003 they hit the dancehall music scene – Voicemail has always been on to shell out great singles, mostly partying and bubbling tunes. Recently in 2012, they have released what I consider to be mellow vyb music. I featured their single ‘In My Bed’ which features Jordanne Patrice last month and I have been meaning to get around to this review/feature.
This record has a rather explicit version which I decided not to feature for those minor readers out there. Lyrically, you can piece together what goes where and I know I myself did that as a young reader when the edited version of music was played. But nonetheless, I prefer to set an example by being the example.
Production wise – This record is sweet! I’m a sucker for a smooth sounding records and this one definitely is on my list of ‘Red Light Vybz’. If you do not know what that is, do a simple Google search of ‘the red light district’ and educate yourself and imagine what is on such a playlist. LOL. In this second half of 2012, I think Voicemail is definitely releasing solid records, most recently the Wild Bubble tune from the Wild Bubble Riddim.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the sounds of Voicemail with their tune entitled ‘Touching‘. Be sure to follow Voicemail on Twitter @VOICEMAILMUSIC to find out when new music is being released from him. He is also has a Facebook fan page so you can Like him via – Voicemail Music.
