So I had a conversation with an AUC sister of mines yesterday and I was letting her know how much I love Caribbean music. We both were explaining our disdain with some of our people who do not always support Caribbean music financially. They are very quick to download music for free when they will pay for another genre of music because the business model is set that way. In an effort for me to help a genre and an industry that I love, I am going to actively promote music, videos and anything a reggae/dancehall/soca artiste is doing, whether it is in the Caribbean, the United States, or any other region.
My first effort in that regard is to post the official music video for Busy Signal’s (@busysignal_turf) single Come Over (Missing You). The video was actually uploaded to YouTube on February 5, 2012 and has been viewed over 290,000 times. Go support the artiste, Busy Signal, whose album “Reggae Music Again” has been receiving very good reviews in it’s first week since the release on April 10, 2012.
Please take the time out to share this post or the video link to your friends, especially those who love Caribbean music! The album, Reggae Music Again by Busy Signal, can be purchase via the following links online: iTunes, Amazon
